Our executive team has a broad skill set, bringing together the technical, construction, operations and financial experience required to advance Ocean link’s portfolio of assets.
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Has been the CEO of Ocean link Mining Company limited from August 2010, he holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and a Bachelor of Laws. He leading the organization through three mergers and an asset acquisition and growing the company from a single-asset developer to a multi-asset producer in just one and
half years. Prior to joining Ocean link, his experience has made the company’s growth ratio to the highest level within short possible time. In January, 2012 Ocean link was honored in overall best gold mining. He held senior positions at Endeavour Mining, and New Gold more years before joining us. His working experience and expertise in finance and capital markets as well as operational, government and stakeholder relations has earn him to the international world.
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
He was SVP Technical Services for Leagold from September 2009 until its merger with ocean in March 2012. He has more than 10 years of experience in project evaluations, exploration, mine geology, resource development and consulting in base and precious metals, diamond and copper. He was with Endeavour Mining for 5 years in executive and senior management roles focused on technical services, business development and investor relations. He was based in South Africa as manager of the Two Sons Company Limited and also was Technical Director - Geology and Geostatistics based in UK. He is a registered professional geoscientist (P.Geo. APEGBC) and a Member of the South African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
He has been the CFO of Ocean Link since August 2018. he is a Chartered Professional Accountant with 13 years of finance, accounting, business development, government negotiation, construction and operations experience. Before his time at office, he spent 9 years at Nevsun Resources Ltd., where he progressed through various management positions and spent several years as Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer. He was involved in financing, construction and mine start-up, operations, government negotiations, and led all areas of finance, including treasury systems and reporting.
VP INVESTOR RELATIONS
She has been the VP Investor Relations of Ocean link mining since October 2016. From July 2011 to October 2016, she managed all aspects of investor relations for a number of resource companies including Southern Arc Minerals, Eagle Hill Exploration and Sandspring Resources.
Previously she was Director of Investor Relations for NovaGold Resources from 2006 to 2010, and prior to that held various positions in the Treasury group at Placer Dome from 1995 to 2006. She is a graduate of the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Environmental Studies degree. She is a director on the National Board of the Investor Relations Institute.
